Hong Yip has always placed great emphasis on the all-round development of young people. For three consecutive years, we have actively joined hands with our parent company Sun Hung Kai Properties to participate in the “Strive and Rise Programme”, organized by the HKSAR Government, by accompanying and providing guide to the young people in Hong Kong, helping them build confidence, broaden their horizons, and lay a solid foundation for their future development.

Each year, more than 90 of our employees voluntarily serve as volunteer mentors in the Programme. On the basis of one-on-one mentor-mentee matching, they share life experiences with the mentees, encourage them to set personal goals with a positive and proactive attitude, assist in cultivating sound financial planning concepts, and participate together in activities and exchanges, fostering mutual sharing and support throughout the mentoring process. This year, several of our employees once again received special recognition in the Programme for their dedication, including the “Mentor and Friend Award” (亦師亦友獎), “Active Participation Award” (積極參與獎), and “Compassionate Care Award” (親切關懷獎), witnessing the deep connection built between mentors and the young participants.

Looking ahead, Hong Yip will continue to uphold its corporate social responsibility, actively support and participate in youth development initiatives, and collaborate with different sectors of society to nurture outstanding local talent, contributing to the sustainable development of Hong Kong.
